I grew up as an active individual playing different sports (mostly volleyball, basketball, & ultimate) which unfortunately left me with different injuries. It wasn’t until I got my most severe injury, sciatica, where I really began to take my healing journey seriously. Through kinesiology-led training and rehabilitation across multiple therapists, I quickly fell in love with “the scientific why” behind doing certain movements and the relief manual therapy provided. I just knew I had to help others in the same way.

My love for “the why” and desire to get to the bottom of peoples’ pain and goals in the multidimensional sphere of health sent me on a long education journey to where I am today with certification such as:

Bachelor of Kinesiology, UBC

Sport Science Diploma, Douglas College

Fascial Stretch Therapy 1, Stretch to Win

Certified Personal Trainer, NASM

Nutrition Coach Certification, Pn1

In my experience as a student coach for UBC Varsity, personal trainer, and volunteer physiotherapy assistant at Eagle Ridge Hospital care home, I’ve been able to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds. I truly believe exercise is one of the best medicines. With this said, I’m dedicated to keep up with the latest research in exercise science so I can comprehensively meet the physical health needs of my clients and beyond.

When I’m not at the gym or clinic, you can find me creating content, shopping for clothes, petting the nearest dog, hanging with friends, or drinking a London Fog!

Brittany recently moved to the area from Vancouver Island where she completed her Diploma in Massage Therapy. Her passion for rehabilitative therapy started when she was young. She was heavily involved in a number of indoor and outdoor sports as both a player and a coach. During this time, she acquired quite a few injuries, which allowed her to appreciate the significance of rehabilitative practices that both heal injuries and, more importantly, prevent them from occurring. Through leading this active lifestyle, she developed a deep passion towards facilitating individuals in their road to recovery and their quest for optimal success. She hopes to educate her clients about the importance of injury prevention and also about the pathologies people commonly face today. Calvin graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2020. He has taken special training with IASTM (Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization), and fascial work but mainly focuses his practice on NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT).

He is an outgoing, passionate and active individual. Outside of work he is an avid cyclist and enjoys shredding the slopes. With over 8 years of physically demanding and office-setting work, Calvin noticed some physical changes in his body regarding poor movement patterns, painful posture, and chronic pain alongside his previous injuries through sports. He then quickly became curious about what preventative maintenance he could’ve done to live a more enjoyable, pain-free life.

Through experiencing multiple injuries he was given the opportunity to seek massage therapy and found soft tissue mobilization to be extremely effective. As a result, this gave Calvin the passion to pursue a profession where he can empower and educate his patients, ultimately leading them into a pain-free lifestyle. Through his education in becoming a Registered Massage Therapist at WCCMT, he gained clinical experience working with a vast number of the population and conditions which includes seniors, neurological, and sports injuries.

Calvin believes that no patient presents exactly the same, this being said he would formulate a treatment approach specifically for each individual including specific homecare and exercises to maximize the effectiveness of each massage therapy treatment.

Ultimately Calvin would like to make an impact on his community by helping others get back to doing what they love in an improved pain-free way!
